Purchasing the ticket:

I went thru a broker online, and got at least 200 dollars less than the airlines sites advertised for themselves.. and i paid a whooping 26% tax!!

Which airport:

Edinburgh or Glasgow, those are your choices.

I used Edinburgh, which meant we got to fly the girth of the entire country, and Scotland was surely more interesting in flight than Ireland appeared to be.

Just before I traveled, the Scotland Yard DeTectTives foiled the plot of the hand creme terrorists, so that when I traveled we were allowed nothing liquid in any form and it was a 16 hour flight.
