Where have I been and where will I go...
I've been to... Cancun-Beach parties and spring break bashes.
That's what comes straight into your head when you think of cancun right?
Well, that's not exactly my cup of tea. (At least not at this age).
No, I went with my parents, not a group of drunk-happy college students.
I visited pyramids of the ancients, and I walked among the memories of
the mayan people. No alcohol for this philosophical soul.
Mexico City-Ah yes, my motherland. You see, while every other mexican thinks
that they have been to Mexico and visited their origins, the farthest they
have gone is Tijuana, or Tecate, or Rosarito at most. No, I've been to the heart of
the country. While I was there, I went to the place where I knew I was at home.
Teotihuacan. I climbed atop the Temple of the Sun, where 15 years ago my father
had me blessed by the gods. Talk about an emotional experience.
