| Size TBD - The challenge for 2000 was to use any or all of a number of star block designs that we had been given over the past year and incorporate them into a quilt. I used the mariner's compass block as a centerpiece, surrounded it with curved "flying geese," and set my six pieced-star blocks so they flowed around the compass. The background fabric is one of the many colorways of Impressions/Fossil Fern, designed by Patricia Campbell and Michelle Jack for Benartex. This is still a quilt top. | |
