| Size 30"x30" - The Autumn Inspiration theme of the 1994 show by Schenectady (NY) Q.U.I.L.T.S. guild guided our challenge in 1994. I used autumn colors for the appliqu�d leaves surrounding this Feathered Star. The leaves are based on trees in my yard (clockwise from top: apple, elm, white oak, staghorn sumac, black cherry, quaking aspen, sugar maple, shagbard hickory). I used a Jinny Beyer border fabric. This wall hanging received a 2nd place (based on points) ribbon at the quilt show. | |
