Mosaic block
| Size 36"x36" - The challenge was to make a quilt, any size, using two and only two pieced or appliqué block designs, no sashing, any border. I chose a Mosaic Block and a Variable Star Block (see below), and added a simple border. A variety of batik fabrics and a stripe were chosen to draw the eye away from the two blocks. Still a top, because I haven't yet decided whether it wants to grow into a bed-size quilt. | |
