What Happens During Treatments?
On your first visit please add a further 15 minutes onto treatment time for your free consultation, which is needed to seek the reason for your treatment, taking into account your general wellbeing, lifestyle, medical conditions, injuries and to establish if there are any contra-indications such as physical conditions which may prohibit or limit a treatment.
You will then be assisted onto a couch or seated in a chair depending on the treatment.

Therapeutic Massage
Is performed while you lie on a specialised padded massage table. You will be asked to remove clothing necessary to perform the treatment, however you will be covered up with towels and only the body part that is being massaged at any one particular time will be exposed.
Cold pressed sunflower oil is generally used for this treatment, which is 100% natural and also a light oil which soaks into your skin easily, so to nourish it.

Reflexology
Is performed while you sit in a specially designed padded recliner, with only your shoes and socks removed.
Treatment starts with your feet being cleaned and then a reading of your feet will be taken, this is to establish if there are any contra-indications on your feet which may require some reflexes being worked on your hands instead to enable you to receive a full treatment.
A little natural talcum powder, scented with lemon and tea tree oil may be applied at the start of the treatment.
Your feet will be gently loosened with a few massage moves before treatment begins. Treatment will end with a relaxing foot massage using a special foot cream.

Indian Head Massage
Is performed while you are seated in a chair.
Massage is performed through clothes and no oil is used.

Baby Massage
For baby massage everyone is seated on the floor, with babies lying on mats and towels.
I will show you the strokes on my doll and you will follow using the strokes on your baby(s).
The baby(s) will have either all or some of their clothing removed and ideally their nappy too.
You will massage them with cold pressed sunflower oil which is 100% natural so it can't harm them in anyway and as it has hardly any fragrance, so  they will associate massage with you rather than a strong smelling smell that they may not like but are unable to tell you.
Each session will end with a discussion and you will be given literature on related subjects such as massage for your growing child etc.
