Papermaker

This page is under constuction.

I cut, chop, shred, cook, clean, and "beat it to a pulp". I add a little of something and form, press and dry it. Then, I have......PAPER!
I bind the sheets together in some unusual way with tiny trinkets and treasures that I've collected from estate sales and antique shops.
They become cards, picture mats, books, sheets of decorative papers made from natural
plant fibers including cattail reeds, flax and wheat straw, prairie grasses and post consumer recycled paper.
The paper is embedded with interesting materials such as eggshells, silk threads, cinnamon and leaves.
Lovely to look at and wonderful to touch.
