William Basse, son of Nathaniel Basse and Mary Jordan, was born 25 Dec 1618 in England. He married Sarah Batten on 20 Sep 1641 in Virginia and only one child is known.  the issue:
1. William Bass - 18 Feb 1648

1. William Bass married Hester (?) and at least four children are known. William only listed his wife Hester and daughter Elizabeth in his will; however records of the Orphans Court (Henrico Co., VA) 1 Oct 1701 listed Elizabeth as "one of the orphans of Wm. Bass." After William's death Hester Bass married Henry Farmer ca. 1696. William died in 1695 in Henrico Co., VA.
