He married Mary Pearson, daughter of Jacob Pearson and Elizabeth (?), on 5 May 1760, and nine children were born. Mary was born 23 Oct 1737 in Chester Co., PA. The Jackson were members of the Cane Creek Monthly Meeting of the Quaker Church in Orange. The names and dates for their children are all recorded in the Church Minutes. Jacob Jackson - 18 May 1772 6. Mary Jackson - 7 Aug 1774 7. Isaac Jackson - 7 Nov 1776 8. James Jackson - 11 Nov 1778 9. Cloud out of unity; Ruth Jackson was disowned 25 Apr 1807 for marrying (?) Piggott out of unity; James Jackson was disowned 28 Dec 1816; Levi Jackson was disowned 26 Jun 1819; Isaac Jackson, Jr. was disowned 2 Feb 1865.
