| Jane leeves was born on april 18th, 1962, in London, but was raised in east grinstead, west sussex, england. (starsign airies) she is most known for her role in groovy sitcom, frasier, as daphne moon! she is currently the highest-paid british-born actress, (well done jane!) but her road to fame wasnt always that easy."my worst job was packaging gold nail studs in a nail gem factory, and she says she eventually got fired, because she talked too much with her collauge! she originally wanted to be a dancer, and went dancing school. she said the BBC(british braodcasting co-operation) sometimes said(when she was on TV) "this one can speak, give her some lines to say" but then, tragically, she had an ankle accident at the age of 18,("i was streching it on a bar, and then something went 'ping!'") and was left unable to pursue her dancing dream. It was then she decided(again-as she had when she was little) she wanted to become an actress, and decied also that there were more oppurtuinities for her in america, so she packed her bags, just $1000 and an ambition, and went to LA in 1984.Jane was in an unknown land, and missing her family very much, but that didnt stop her (you go girl!) But she was to be snapped up, and brought to our screens! she took acting classes with people like winona ryder, and jim carrey!she recently opened her own production company with co-star in frasier, Peri Gilpin!(named bristol cities-lol)she has been a voice in tom thumb and thumbelina, godess athena in tv show hercules, the voice of the ladybug in james and the giant peach, alberta leonard in miracle on 34th street,holly in red dwarf(usa) wylie in mr.write, audrey cohen in murphy brown, the great war (mini) just deserts, music of the heart, juliet in us begin with you, (aka dont go breaking my heart) blue in throb, pandoras clock(akadomesday virus) as racheal sherwood, serena, in to live and die in LA,an extra in every spem is sacred,(monty python film for those of u who have missed out!lol) and hills angel in the benny hill show! phew! and she had time to have a beautiful baby- isabella kathryn coben, on 9th jan, 01 awwwwwwww! ill try n get a piccie on here. shes also married to marshall coben-they married in 1996, and had a wedding in both america and england!(the english one was at the church in east grinstead-the villiage where she grew up! her mum got a chimney sweep to kiss her for good luck too!) now, after reading all the stuff shes done, maybe you can see why shes my idol! |
