Olivejuice's
Pig Pinata
Ingredients: I round balloon, lots of newspaper cut into strips, pink tissue paper, flour, water, and string.
Directions:
Mix flour and water together until slightly thinner than pancake batter. Blow up balloon and tie string to it. Hang balloon somewhere that drips don't matter, or cover floor. Dip strips of newspaper into flour/water mixture and wrap around balloon, covering the whole thing except for a hole in the bottom.
For the snout and ears, take some newspaper and make it into the form of the snout and ears, then use the paper mache in strips over the forms to attach to the head. Make sure that you firmly attach them.
Allow to dry for about 10 minutes, then take pink tissue paper and cover the head. Try not to use any more paper mache mix, unless you have to. Leave it to dry over night. Once pig head is completely dry, pop the balloon and fill hole with candy. Take more paper mache mix and newspaper to cover the hole. cover the patch with pink paper. Make sure you dry it with the patch on top so that the candy doesn't stick.
