Glycerine Soap
Heat desired amount of glycerin (purchased from Michael's in soapmaking section) in microwave safe container for 40 seconds on high then 10 second intervals until comletely melted. You could also do this in a double boiler but I was too impatient for that.
Add your essential oils, color ( I bought specially for soap colorants), anything else to make it special. Some ideas: Coffee beans (ground or whole), plastic army men or other small toys, oatmeal (not instant), fresh and dried herbs, sea salt.
Pour into mold and let cool 20-40 miutes.
Apply gentle pressure to release from mold.
* Really don't want to buy a mold? Use an old ice cube tray instead.
