A weekend on the New Jersey sore, Bay Head, to be precise was just what we needed after the humid August weather. The town of Bay Head is situated on a spit of land between the Atlantic Ocean and the intercoastal waterway that extends down to Florida. I never expected the New Jersey coast to be so pretty, or the sun to be so strong. Despite copious amounts of suncream I got the worst case of sunburn I have ever had.
