BACKGROUND

My name is Janean Morales and I am a junior at NorthEastern Illinois University with a major in Marketing. I spend most of my time working and going to school full-time, however when I do find myself with some extra free time on my hands, I enjoy cooking/baking, taking my dog Xena on long adventurous hikes, and traveling.
After graduating and receiving my Bachelor's degree in Marketing, I plan to get a job in the field and work my way up the ladder to potentially become a Marketer. I am still undecided on what I will do with my degree since this degree opens the door to so many opportunities, but one thing I know for certain is I will be one of the great ones.
My short-term goals include rescuing/caring for as many animals as I possibly can. I own two cats and a dog of my own. However, not every animal is lucky enough to have a shelter to escape the dangerous world or a nutritious meal every day to get them through their daily struggles.
I've rescued baby squirrels, rabbits, cats, and even a duck once; I got them off the dangerous streets of Chicago and ensured they were cared for and gave them a safe place to call home.
My long-term goals include getting a good paying job that allows me to support myself and my family fully. I hope to own a large home somewhere outside of the city, perhaps Colorado, and to enjoy the simple things life has to offer like forests and natural bodies of water.
I want to travel the world with my partner and pets before finally settling down with a family of our own, including many more pets we've rescued together.
