Walesby Forest, Newark
11 of us went to Walesby this year, as well as 4 leaders and Rosie, one of the leader's daughters.
We stayed in Parker Lodge which was a great building. There was plenty of room upstairs and the kitchen was really big.
Our theme on camp was Robin Hood. The leaders were named after Robin Hood characters and the Patrols were called Merry Men, Prince John's Men, Sheriffs Men.
We did lots of activities including Rafting. We had to build our own rafts and then hope that they didn't sink when we pushed them out onto the pond.
The rifle shooting was really good.
