Kalbarri Day 3
Page 1
Today was the drive down to Geraldton.  We had decided to take part in the Your Rights At Work Rally there.  We took the Kalbarri-Ajana Road to see what that was like (when we got to Geraldton, the first thing we did was call into Spotlight to get some crochet stuff for me to stay awake!) but it was pretty boring.  Although, we realised that during wild flower season it would be worth travelling.  Of course, that had finished the week earlier.  <sigh>
As you can see, today was a marvellous day.  We couldn't have wished for a nicer day.  If we were swimming.  But, no, we were walking in a rally.

This pikkie is special, 'cause it shows the entry to the street where a friend's father lives.  We didn't know it until we showed it to him.   Talk about coincidence.
This is the memorial that has been erected to remember those sailors lost on the Sydney when she went down after meeting with the German vessel the Kormorant in World War 2.  Neither vessel has been found and the statue of the woman waiting denotes those women who have never seen their husbands again.  This was a very touching memorial.
