Thanks for visiting our website and keeping up with us as we prepare to head out on the road. Here's some random thoughts for the week:
This week, we checked a couple more items off our "To Do" list. The biggest (and most challenging) item was to shear the dog. Muphy is a 34 lb.dog with about 15 lbs. being HAIR! We shaved (well, I shaved and Jimmy held her collar) for 90 minutes. We had enough hair on the ground to knit another complete dog. Jimmy says she now looks like she has "the mange". Guess I better give up on that dream of being a famous dog groomer!
The second item to be checked off was to get all the animals to the vet and back without any major incidents. Luckily, everyone made it through without any biting or accidents. Dr. Reynolds was surprised that Murphy didn't need the muzzle this time. He said that she must be mellowing out in her old age.It was actually pretty nice around here for a couple of days while the cats and dog were sleeping off all the shots. Wonder if we can get a couple of bottles of that stuff for the road?
We still have had no lookers at the house. Guess no one has been out and about during this bit of "Dogwood Winter." It snowed here Wednesday! Hopefully, it will be nice tomorrow for once.
Not much else going on...just finishing up some organizing, some house projects and some work things.
