Parts List:

After construction of the basic image here insert the egg crating into the areas above and below section a and below section d. In section a place you filter medium . In section c insert your fliter gloss.

The basic principle here is a biological trickle filter , here is a run through of how it works.

- step1:water from a siphone over flow in the tank enters into section d.This is usally diffused over the entire filter gloss in section c by some kind of matting . I like to use plastic mats from arts and craft stores . These matt are sold for crotia ??? something like that anyway look around for them they wrk great if you keep them clean.

- step2:water flows through the filter gloss to remove larger waste material.

- step3 water then flows through your filter medium which can be crushed coral domolite crushed oster shells or whatever you like to use.

- step4 water then flows into the sump (section b) in this area there is a glss divider between section b and e to prevent over flow while in operation.

-step5 in section E the pump is operating returning water to the tank.
