About Me

I am going to give you all a little insight into the person behind the webpage. My name is Jana and I am 19 years old. I live in Alexandria, Louisiana . I have lived in Louisiana my entire life. My birthday is June 2 when I will be 20, so that makes me a very proud Gemini . I am currently single and I do not have any children. I will be working for an internet startup company starting in June and I will probably go back to college in the fall at Northwestern State University here in Louisiana. Currently, I am taking the Computer Repair Course from PCDI. I hope to one day get my A+ Certification.

I have may interests and hobbies which include poetry, video and computer games, fantasy and medival art (looking I can't paint LOL), collecting various items such as baseball cards, collector's barbies, and collector's plates. One of my favorite summertime activities is going to watch The Alexandria Aces play baseball every year. I love fairy tales, my favorite is Sleeping Beauty probably followed by Beauty and the Beast. I spend a lot of my time on military related things even though I do not have any relatives in the military. My only connection is growing up in Oakdale, Louisiana near Fort Polk and what was once England Air Force Base and a few ex boyfriends hehe. My grandfather also served in the Coast Guard in World War II. Sometimes he tells stories about when he was in the USCG. I just know that what I do is appreciated. Some of them do not get a lot of mail so the letters and email I send are usually very welcomed. I just received my new soldier from Adopt-a-Platoon . I also write letters and emails as part of Support Our Soldiers .

Of all the webpages in the site, the one that I hold close to my heart is the page I made for my Adopted POW/MIA, Thomas Moore. You can adopt your very own POW/MIA's at Operation Just Cause which has been successful in bringing home some of the men that we have left behind.
