Proud
Mother!
Her pride and joy are her children, Lakshmi, Sudharsana
and Ravi,
shown at the left in all their splendour! All are accomplished
vocalists and Lakshmi and Sudharsana are beautiful Bharata Natyam
dancers, too.
Ravi has performed at various venues in North America, including
Dallas, Ottawa, Winnipeg and Tulsa.
Great
Cook
As anyone
who has had the pleasure of eating her food knows, Janaki is
an amazing cook! Stay tuned for a brand new online cookbook for
traditional South Indian fare, entitled, "As Easy As
That."
Nothing Would Have Been Possible but For
...
They say
behind every great man is a great woman. In this case the reverse
is true - none of these talents could have been honed, none of
these goals could have been realized, (none of these dance and
music classes paid for!) had it not been for the never wavering
support of Janaki's husband, M.S.Srinivasan. He's the one in
the family who has always been there to watch and listen, because
after all, if everyone sings, who will listen??! |
