The Waste Land

Welcome to my Waste Land page. I studied this poem in school in March, and I really enjoyed it, partly thanks to my tutor's enthusiasm for it. Now that I have discovered The Waste Land, I want to share it with you. A few notes to get you started: At first read, this poem may seem vague and incoherent, but just explore the poem a little bit, and it's meaning will become clearer to you. To explore The Waste Land, visit Exploring The Waste Land, a website by a guy called Rick Parker. I found this site very helpful for interpreting the poem. To put you in the right place and time, remember Eliot is writing this post World War I, and this is how the war has left his world. I hope you enjoy the poem as much as I do. Happy reading. :)
