The Love of Jesus

I have the love of Jesus
Way down deep inside,
His love for me is beyond compare
In which I can not hide.

I know He really loves me
For He came to earth one day,
To take my place upon the cross
My sins for which He paid.

A greater love, I've never known
To give His life for me,
As when they nailed Him to the cross
Upon the Hill of Calvary.

He gave His life that day
So that I may have mine,
And one day I shall walk with Him
In Heaven's golden Sonshine.

To think of such a day
Fills my heart with joy,
To live with Him in Heaven
Where sorrow shall be no more.

The Love I have for Him
It did not come from me,
It came from Him alone
AND HIS LOVE HAS SET ME FREE!
