Shows us that even though their is full blown tension within the group they still can put all of that aside and create a great album. John Lennon hired Phil Spector to come in and butcher some of Paul McCartney's songs. He added voices and orchestras to "The Long and Winding Road" and "Let It Be" thus making a rift between Paul and John even worse. I like the album version of "Let It Be" but I think they should have left "The Long and Winding Road" the way Paul intended it to be. In essence, he should have "let it be."
