| The overseas adoption system in England is very lengthy. We started in Oct 99! and out of the people who we went on an initial course with, ours are the first papers to be sent to China. We dont have agencies, the whole process is done through the dept of health. We were told that the wait would be 9 months, but having seen the various messages on the web, it looks as if the wait will be nearer 10-12 months- I dont know how I will manage , but I expect everyone feels like this. Anyway I have found it helpful to join the e mail group, even though everyone else is American | |
