Welcome To . . .
MWK Stationery Tutorial

Well here it is ~ a stationery tutorial. I hope you find
this tutorial helpful. I tried to include every detail and
make this very easy to follow. The tutorial begins with a
step-by-step process for creating your stationery picture
with Paint Shop Pro 6. The tutorial will end with a hyperlink
to two text files that you can copy and paste the html code
for setting up your stationery. One text file is the code and
the other text file explains what you need to change in the
code to add your stationery picture file; text font, color
and size along with the scrolling ticker. Now on with the
tutorial ~ enjoy and most of all ~ have fun! :o)

THE FINISHING TOUCHES

Now it's time to add the finishing touches to your
stationery graphic! Go to Layers, Merge, Merge Visible.
Now you will need to select with the rectangle selection
tool a small section of the stationery box just under the
very top of the box. Start from the left side, hold your
mouse button down and drag the box all the way to the right
side of your stationery box then let go and choose . . .
Edit and Copy. Then simply choose Edit, Paste,
As New Selection and paste the copied selection over the
very top of your stationery box and do the same for the
very bottom of the stationery box ~ this will give you a
nice smooth border so your graphic will flow without any
seams showing when you use it for stationery or a background.

Here is what my finished stationery that I did for the
purpose of this tutorial looked like . . .

Now for the html file for your stationery. Your almost
finished! Aren't you so proud of yourself!
the stationery html tutorial.

Click HERE to go to the
copy and paste page for you to use as your stationery
html page guide. You will need to paste this into a
text type program that will allow you to save as an html
file. Then save the html file in your stationery folder.
This can normally be found in . . . Program/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/Stationery

Well that's it ~ I hope you enjoyed my tutorial!
