Here are some scans of a JDM owners manual that I obtained from a fellow SVXer in New Zealand. The manual is huge so I have only scanned these pages and also the ones relating to the 4ws features. June 2001 Due to some requests, I have also now included some scans on the airconditioning/climate control; multifunction steering wheel, and the audio controls for the CD stacker - I have only ever seen one SVX here in Australia with the stacker option and as such, presume that it did not take off elsewhere. Any comments???

Front and back covers....the colour is actually a metallic purple. But!! Geocities says that I am within 500k of my maximum plus the add extra space is unavailable! As such, have to conserve space and I presume that you want to see diagrams rather than what is really a plain cover! Email me if you really want the cover!
SVX Flare I scanned this page since I thought it would be of interest to anyone who had a JDM SVX. Have a look around for a flare that the compliance people may have missed...I know of a few instances here in Australia where JDM model cars have, when being stripped for an audio install, proffered a flare by way of gift! NOTE: We cannot use flares in Australia
Translation!! Again, if anyone can translate the pages below, I will host the translation and credit the hard work of the person who toiled night and day to allow us to read the JDM Manual. Still not convinced? For shame, and I'll bet you read the translation that Paddlesnz did on the 4ws mechanism!! If my persuasive charm has worked, please email me!
SVX Air Conditioning/Climate Control I understand that the right hand drive SVX's came with a different climate control airconditioning system. As such, this series of pages should be of interest to those in the United States. If someone could scan in the pages from a left-hand drive model, then I could put them up so as to compare the two variants.
SVX Audio Controls/Steering Wheel This series of pages shows the JDM steering wheel that had audio controls on it. An SVXer in Japan indicates that this occured on the non-airbag equipped models and that due to the cost of the airbag, on top of an already expensive car, the airbag equipped cars were not as prevalent.
SVX Foldng Mirrors Australian SVX's did not come with an option of electrically operated retractable mirrors but such mirrors are very common on the Japanese imports that we receive on the grey market here. Although it has been said that this function is to aid parking in tight spaces,I think that if the space is so tight as to require folding mirrors, how does one open the door and exit the vehicle???
