To
increase the amount of items that you can download from a
specific server at once (including how many pictures on a page
that can be downloaded to be displayed at a time) from two to
any number:
Go to Start>Run and type
'Regedit'
Go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet
Settings
Add a Dword value of
'MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server' Add a Dword value of
'MaxConnectionsPerServer'
For a cable modem connection, a value of
16 for the first item and 8 for the next works well for me. If
you have a faster connection, more may be better.
To make the cursor go to the address
bar, either use Alt + D or Ctrl + Tab.
