| My name is Joe Morgan, and I'm 22 years old. I'm hockey player sized (6'3 and 212 pounds), but I'm obviously nowhere near skilled enough to play hockey for a living. So to make up for that shortcoming, I'm a 5th year senior at Michigan Technological University (MTU), and my major is Minerals Processing Engineering. The United States Navy recently enlisted me as a Nuclear Engineer, and I'll be going to basic training in late May. I currently live in a cabin in a very small town called Chassell, which is stuck in a remote part of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We average 200 inches of snow a year, and the nearest town with a population of more than 6,000 people is a hundred miles away. We're even 4 hours north of Green Bay, that's how isolated it is. I'm from Detroit originally, so it was kind of weird when I came up here 5 years ago. Hockey is really huge here, just like in Motown, so I collect autographs of hockey players to reflect my love of the game. I especially enjoy collecting autographs of former MTU players who have played in the NHL like Randy McKay, Tony Esposito and Andy Sutton, and also to collect autographs of Finnish hockey players. Also, I emphasize collecting players from my favorite teams, which are: 1. Detroit Red Wings 2. Toronto Maple Leafs 3. Boston Bruins 4. Pittsburgh Penguins Needless to say, I dislike the Avs, being a Wings fan and all. As far as trading autographs goes, I like to trade autographs for players I don't have or to work on the 99'-00' Upper Deck MVP SCE set. You're probably thinking that I don't do much besides hockey, but I have many other interests. I enjoy hanging out with my buds and my beautiful, intelligent, sexy fiancee (just in case she reads this) at the bars, restaurants, or at the movies. I'm the president of the local racquetball club, lift weights occasionally, and shoot a mean game of pool. Also unfortunately I drink way more alcohol than is good for me, and watch any of the 4 major American sports (I especially love football and hockey). My favorite football teams are the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers are tied for second favorite. The music I listen to is a wide variety. I enjoy alternative, heavy metal, industrial, electronic (especially ambient, trip-hop, and trance) and even country music. Metallica is my all-time favorite band.
