Never Ever Let You Go.performed by Rollo and King
Your hosts have prepared the main course. Oh, 'ang on, the foody references were in the Greek bit, so I'll have to switch metaphor. Or perhaps not use any at all.
Somebody very helpfully pointed out that having Rollo and King represent Denmark is like having the Corrs represent Ireland or Steps singing for the UK. They're her-yooge in their neck of the woods. This may explain why they won the Danish leg quite easily on February 17 with the snappily-monikered Det Star et Billede af Dig Pa Mit Bord. Don't worry: it's going to be sung in English on May 12, tongue-twister-phobes.
It's an C+W type number with an annoyingly simple melody, and was one of the favourites with fans from an early stage. Eurovision may not be leaving Denmark until at least 2002...
HEARD-IT: It's nothing spectacular. However, the hosts are going up last, so there's no way this can do badly.
AND ON THAT NOTE, WE'LL PREDICT: Top 5
