SONIC SPEED PART 2

When we last left our heroes, they were setting out to find the deathegg. Lets join them now shall we?

	''We've been walking for hours!'' complained Amy. They were trekking through a swamp and were
very miserable. 
	''Look!'' cried Tails,''the Deathegg!'' A giant blimp was flying overhead, about a mile away. A
strange noise is heard. Metal Sonic speeds through the merry group.
	''He's going to beat us to the shrine!'' cries Sonic. ''Knuckles, see if you can get back the chaos
emeralds. Tails, i want you to take on Robotnik. Amy, find a way to destroy the Deathegg. Im going to race
Metal Sonic to the Shrine thing.'' Sonic speeds after metal sonic.
	''Amy, Hop on to the front of the tornado, I'll give you a boost up to the deathegg.'' says Tails.
	''I'll find a way in,'' grunts Knuckles. He glides upwards and hooks onto the bottom of the deathegg.
after crawling around a bit, he finds an air vent. He punches it and it falls to the ground. Tails and Amy fly into
it and knuckles follows. They crawl until they find another screen. Knuckles punches this one in too. They
crawl out into a corridor, and tails transforms the tornado into a walker. There are two ways to go.
	''I'll go left,'' commands Knuckles,'' You go right. Got it?'' he dashes down the hallway before Tails
has a chance to answer. Tails and Amy go to the right, not knowing what lies ahead.

	Meanwhile, on long plain with a few rock formations here and there...

	''Gah, does Metal Sonic's battery ever run out?'' thinks Sonic. ''I'll beat him, ive beaten him before!''
Sonic goes into a spin dash and creates a hole a boulder. Metal Sonic shoots a missle and destroys
the remains of the boulder. Sonic finds an oasis and runs across the water. Metal Sonic just glides over it.
Sonic jumps from rock pillar to rock pillar, causing rockslides in Metal Sonic's path. Metal Sonic just
Zigzags through them, blasting a particularly lage boulder to smitherenes. Sonic finally jumps back and
attempts to spin jump Metal Sonic's head off...

	Meanwhile, on the Deathegg to the left of a special air vent...

	''I can sense the Master Emerald. It is nearby. Through this door...'' Knuckles dashes onto a
platform over looking a seemingly bottomless pit.
	''Well, Well, Well, if it isn't that stupid Echidna. To get through that door on the other side, you'll
have to fight me. HA HA HA!'' Nack appears, using his jet pack to descend slowly. As soon as his feet
touch the ground, Knuckles lunges at him. Nack leaps out of the way. Knukles lands headfirst on the ground
and slides to the end of the platform. Nack fires his energy gun at Knuckles. Knuckles somersaults over
the edge of the platform and grabs on. He feels the white hot heat from the energy blasts, as they soar
over his head. He pulls himself up and runs toward Nack. Nack repeatedly fires his blaster. Knuckles
does a sweet Matrix-like thing where time slows down and he twists his body to doge the blasts.
Knuckles finally punches one hard enough, so that it flys back at Nack who gets hit and soars over the edge of the
platform. As Nack falls down into the darkness, the door opens and Knuckles dashes through.

	Meanwhile, on the deathegg to the right of a certain air duct...

	''Tails, are we there yet?''
	''SHUT UP AMY, SOMEONE WILL HEAR Y-oops.'' an E-1000 robot rounds a corner in front of them.
He is joined by several others. Tails fires away on his volcan cannon, while amy smashes them with her
Piko Hammer.
	''That was too easy.'' says Tails. They round the corner and lo and behold, it is the egg golem,
standing on concrete, gaurding a door on the other side of the room.
	''Tails, there is no path to the other side,'' Amy notices.
	''Fine, stand on the wings of the tornado plain and lets go.'' says Tails. He transforms the
walker into an airplain and easily flys around the egg golem. The door on the other side does not open.
	''We have to destroy the Egg Golem!'' cries Amy. Tails Flys around the Egg Golems Head which
opens up and shoots out heat seeking missles. Tails manuvers his airplane so that the missles crash into
each other. The Egg Golem waves his hands around in the air and trys to crush the tornado. Tails shoots a
well placed missle which hits the Egg Golems chest, causing the Egg Golem to collapse. Tails and Amy fly
through the door only to meet...

	Meanwhile, on a plane with some rock formations on it...

	Sonic Spin-Jumped at Metal Sonic. Metal Sonic's Eyes glowed red instead of yellow and he fired
a missle at sonic! Sonic cut through it, but he missed Metal Sonic. Metal Sonic fired seveal heat-seeking
missles at Sonic! Sonic Spin-Dashed underneath them and rolled through Metal Sonics legs. The Heat-seeking
missles were caught on the fire that propelled Metal Sonic forward! The missles got closer and closer...

	Meanwhile, in a corrodor out side of the place where Nack fell down a bottomless pit...

	''Huff, Huff, Pant, Pant.'' Knuckles gasped for air. Doging those bullets sure took a lot out of him
He put his hands on his knees and stood there for a second. Then he noticed something. The Master 
Emeralds Signal was stronger. He sprinted down the hallway and looked into an open doorway. It looked
like the prototype of a robot making machine. Knuckles smashed it before moving on. He looked through
the next doorway and saw the Chaos Emeralds all sitting around the Master Emerald. Knuckles scooped them
all into a sack and slung it over his shoulder. He turned around and saw...Nack!
	''I thought you fell down a bottomless pit!'' Knuckles cried.
	''Did you really think it was bottomless? Gosh, what a loser.''
	''Thats it, im gonna kick your...''

	Meanwhile, In a room beyond the room where a broken Egg Golem lay...

	''Its you! Dr. Robotnik!'' cried Tails.
	''Who were you expecting, The Easter Bunny?'' replied Dr. Robotnik. He fired a missle at tails,
who doged it easily before amy smashed it with her Piko Hammer.
	''That was a dud,'' said Tails.
	''Duh, we can all see that.'' replied Robotink. They fired missles back and forth at each other.
Suddenly, behind Robotnik, Amy was Smashing up the monitors and control board.
	''Gahhh! The Death Egg will EXPLODE!'' Dr. Robotnik cried. He said something into his communicator
watch and leaped out the only working montior, which happened to be a window. Tails and Amy jumped 
after him.

	Meanwhile on a plane with rock formations...

	Direct hit. The Heat Seeking Missles hit Metal Sonic. But as the dust cleared, he hovered still
unaffected by the missles. Sonic stood there in awe, and something in the distace caught his attention.
Dr. Robotink was in the Egg Mobile Zooming towards Metal Sonic and Sonic. He was followed by Tails, 
who was in a car also, wheras Amy was holding on to the back fender for dear life. As soon as they caught
up, Metal Sonic started up again and Sonic ran after him followed by Robotnik, Tails, and Amy.

	Meanwhile, in the Deathegg...

	Nack recieved a transmission on his wrist communicator. 
	''Nack, this place is going to blow, get the Emeralds and get out, NOW!''
	''Knuckles,'' Nack said,''this place is going to blow. Give me the emeralds, and I will show you a
way out.''
	''HAH!'' laughed Knuckles. He ran out of the room and leaped out of a window in the hallway.
	''Blast it,'' cried Nack. He Jumped out of the window after Knuckles and used his jet pack
to fly after him. They met up with the others halfway up the mountain. They all Ran until they reached the
top, where the shrine was. Nack tackles Knuckles from behind and tossed the bag of emeralds to Robotnik.
Robotnick placed the emeralds into the energy collecters and a portal appeared in midair.
	''We've got to stop him!'' cried sonic. Without thinking, he ran forward and chucked one of the 
emeralds out of the entrance to the shrine. Instantly, the portal disappeared.
	''NOOOO!'' cried Robotnik. Sonic, Knuckles, Tails And Amy threw the rest of the Chaos Emeralds
out of the entrance and down the mountainside. The Death Egg crashed into the mountain and blew up, 
and the emeralds, being almost indestructable, went flying to the corners of Mobius.
	''I will iniahalte you all!'' screamed Robotnik. He pulled out a giant Blaster gun and fired it at
Sonic, Knuckles, Amy and Tails. Suddenly, right next to Sonic, a voice cried out,
	''CHAOS CONTROL!'' Sonic had just enough time to turn his head and see Shadow!
Then, he appeared in Knothole with Tails, Amy, Knuckles and surprisingly enough, the Master Emerald!
	''What Happened?'' said Tails.
	''Shadow... he used chaos control to get us out of there.'' Sonic replied
	''But he's dead and where would he get the emerald?'' said Amy.
	''And how did he chaos control the master emerald here too?'' asked Knuckles
	Sonic answered, ''I don't know...''
