Sonic Speed

''Blast it!'' cried Robotnik. ''I could have destroyed all of knothole and Mobius, but instead I saved it
(sonic Adventure 2). Well, I want to take over Mobius, not destroy it. What's that?'' Foot steps came closer
and closer to his office where he sat in a chair on the deathegg and watched over Mobius through some 
monitors. A shadowy figure appeared in the doorway. 
	''Who are you? Reveal yourself!'' cried Robotnik. The figure stepped forward. 
	''I am Nack the Weasel. I have heard about your evil and I can help you.''
	''How can you help me? I am the great Robotnik! You cannot even match my genius!''
	'' That may be so,'' said Nack, '' but i have a plan to take over another dimension. It may not be
Mobius, but it will be a place that you will rule! There are no super fast Hedgehogs there to get in your
way, only loyal subjects. But it will only be accessable when you put the Chaos emeralds into the slots
in a shrine in the Mysterious Mountains.''
	''But how can I trust you,'' questioned Robotnik. ''You dont seem like a very trustworthy fellow.
Give me some proof.''
	''Give me a seat of power in your new empire and I will help you.'' said Nack. ''We must get the
Chaos and Master emeralds though. I wil get 3 of the chaos emeralds and the Master Emerald. You get
the other four chaos emeralds. Got it?''
	''Right.'' answered Robotnik. ''Let's Go.''

	Meanwhile on the floating Island...
	
	''I wonder why I was chosen to be the gardian of the Master Emerald.'' thought Knuckles.
''Why couldn't it have been anyone else? Sometimes my job seems too great for me. That stupid bat-girl,
trying to take what is mine. Oh well, it all turned out good in the end...'' he stands in silence looking out
into the sunset. 
	Suddenly, Knuckles hears a rumbling sound and the ground beneath him starts to shake.
	''Gah! The Island is falling!'' Knuckles races to the place where the master emerald is kept. It is
missing from the object that would normally harness the great emeralds power. He looks up and sees
Nack using his jet pack to fly away.
	''RETURN THAT AT ONCE!'' Orders Knuckles.
	''Make me.'' Replys Nack. Knuckles Glides Toward Nack and attempts to punch him. Nack is ready
and fires his energy gun a Knuckles. It doesnt harm knuckles, but it knocks him back down to the floating
island. Nack laughs as he flys away into the distance. Knuckles flys in the same direction after him.

	Meanwhile in Station Square...

	Sonic and Tails are carrying Amy's shopping items and hear a siren.
	''Uh oh. Somethings up,'' says tails (''duh,'' thinks sonic .)
	''Gotta run Amy. See ya!'' says sonic. He drops amys clothes right where he's standing and speeds
towards the noise. He runs right to the bank where Shadow stole a chaos emerald and framed Sonic.
	''You think they would've moved the chaos emerald'' says tails.
	''No time to worry now, look!'' Sonic points straight ahead at none other than Dr. Robotnik.
	''Ug, it's him! No problem!'' says tails. Dr.  Robotnik turns his walker towards them and fires
a missle. The shop next to the bank explodes in front of our heroes.
	''Ahhhh,'' screams Tails,''Sonic, HELP!''  A giant piece of Derbis flys toward tails and he is
unconsious from a rock that hit him on the head. Sonic dashes toward Tails and carries him out of harms
way. Tails comes to in a hospital ward, several hours later.
	''Sonic... Robotnik got away, didn't he?''
	''Yeah,'' said sonic,'' but we'll catch him. I just wish I knew what his plan was...''
	''Sonic, you left me all alone!'' cries Amy. ''Robotnik stole the chaos emeralds, and
apparently, a person working for him has stolen the rest!''
	''But he was just here!'' cried Tails. ''He couldn't have stolen them all in like, ten minutes.''
	''Tails, you were unconsious for a few hours, but I must admit, Robotniks getting good.''
	''That's not all,'' says a person in the doorway. ''He had a helper. The helper stole the Master
Emerald and-''
	''Amy just said he had a helper doofus,'' innterrupts Sonic.
	''Shut up and let me finish. I think his plan has something to do with an old Echidnan legend.
somewhere in the mysterious mountains, there is a portal to another dimension. Robotnik is probably
trying to get through that portal so he can take over the other dimension.''
	''Why doesnt he want to take over mobius anymore?'' asks Amy.
	''Because we keep stopping him, probably.'' answers tails.
	''We've got to find the Deathegg and stop robotnik!'' cries out Sonic.
