Here are a few utilities I've written to help me with my various hobbies. I'm making them freely available to everyone in the hopes that others will find them as useful as I have.

Please note that since these were written primarily for my own use, I am not likely to produce further versions of these utilities unless prompted by overwhelming demand. Feel free to request any changes you can think would be useful, however, since you never know when I might have some extra time on my hands...

  • ColorPicker (278K, zipped) - current version: 1.12
    [ Screen Shots ]
ColorPicker is a simple dialog box that allows the user to intuitively select a color from a palette of millions. Often used or favorite colors may be named and saved to a customized list. Colors may be copied to the clipboard in POV, HTML, Vivid, or raw formats. Colors may also be taken from anywhere on the screen using the eye-dropper. (Win95, Win98, WinNT)

  • JDice (21K, zipped) - current build: 28 Jan 2000
    [ Screen Shots ]
JDice is a dialog box that allows the user to simulate the rolling of dice. Six separate lines allow multiple combinations of dice to be rolled simultaneously. A "quick pick" menu allows the common dice (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100) to be rapidly selected, but dice with any number of sides (from 2 to 200) may be entered manually. Multiple dice may be rolled as one, with the results added, or separately, with the results of each die shown individually. Results may be directly copied to the clipboard for use in other applications. Common dice configurations may be saved for later re-use. (Win95, Win98, WinNT)
