Mortal Kombat Annihilation is the sequal to the orignal movie. And starts off where the other movie ended. The music in Mortal Kombat Annihilation is very much similar to that of the first movie. This time there is more of a dance/techno beat type music. I find this kond of music very easy to train aerobicly. The film is classified PG, I would guess because I saw very little if any Blood being spilt. Just pure fighting and special effects. There is however a scene thats a bit odd. Two of the female characters do have a fight but it seems to end up into some kind of Mud wressling scene. Now to the good part, the fighting techniques and moves. A lot of the techniqes are acrobatic. People bouncing of walls and ceilings, doing flips etc. The main style seemed to be Karate, Tae kwon do based and very little of anything else. Lots of combinations of direct techniques, kicks, puches, elbows and knees. So you might be disapointed if your looking for a wide range of styles and techniques. I found the fight scenes better in the first movie. MKA has too much focus on the special effects and not on the different styles of the individual. Unless you're partner expecting lots of fighting scenes with little else then you might want to think again about taking your loved one to see this. Other Reviews Links MORTAL
