Bush School Tournament
Congratulations to everyone who was involved in
the 24 May tournament. To the spectators, thank you for
your time ana encouragement. Your large presence gave the
day a wonderful atmosphere.
To the competitors, your excellent skills and supert,
sportspersonship were the highlights of the day. Well
done.
Finally, many thanks to the hard working officials who
again showed focussed dedication and initiative under
what can be, at times, very demanding conditions. Why do we have toumaments?
Most people parti~ipate in tournaments to help develop
fighting endurance and striking ludgement. Tournaments
put in perspective various training practices and
techniques. Participation enables one to lear and perform
these skills in a controlled environment.
