Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.

Tasha watched Jami carefully from her hidden spot in the hotel lobby. She knew Jami was in anguish, hurt by her friend's betrayl. But it was for the best. It was all for the best in the end. It's better that Jami found out about Tasha now, rather than 3 kids down the line when they were doing the carpool thing.

Tasha knew Jeff was watching Jami. She also knew that Adam was asleep, more than likely dreaming about Jami. She felt the familiar tug on her heart as she thought of the two men that she had desperately fallen in love with. It had started out as a game, but now...she wasn't playing.
***
Taunt me, Tease me
But baby, don't you please me
I don't deserve what you want to give
I only deserve to live
So don't you let my dreams come true

***
Tasha struggled to hold back a bitter laugh that had rosen in her chest. She had actually begun to feel for all of them. Believe in friendship. Believe in this charade of hers. At first it had been a game to get with Adam. Become his interest. Leave him hurting.

Then she wanted to destroy Jami...and she wasn't quite sure why. She only knew that Jami had everything that she had always wanted. And she never even knew it. She never seemed to totally realize it.

Then she had fallen for Jeff. Her mind rationalized that it had been some smart ploy to get the two men to play off each other and to tear Jami apart. But then she had realized the horrible truth that her heart had known all along. She was actually beginning to feel.

***

Slowly working myself into a frenzy
Knowing that you are about to believe in me
Can't stand to let anyone down.
So I'll never let myself be on that pedestal
Always throw myself around
Can't take a chance on what friendship might offer
Don't want to be let down.

***
Emotions bubbling inside her had slowly begun to eat away at the stony exterior she called her attitude. Finally, she knew that she deserved all their hatred. All their scorn. So she had told Adam and Jeff the truth. The pain and fury in their eyes and almost been to much to take.

That's when she had backed out of telling Jami. She couldn't stand to see the pain and fury reflected in her eyes. Not when she had let the thin woman take on a huge part of her heart. She hadn't meant to, it had just happened. Friendship had begun to form. And she knew she didn't deserve that, not after what she had done.

Taunt me, Tease me
But baby don't you please me
I don't deserve what you want to give
I only deserve to live
So don't let my dreams come true

***
Tasha knew she couldn't believe in Friendship. Friendship was a fleeting emotion. Then it would disappear like everything else in her life. Everything she had worked for. So, this time she had decided that she would hurt Jami. Hurt her for all the pain she had forgotten to cause her.

She knew how to get Jami. She would play her friendship card. Guys had a saying "bro's before ho's" and women had the same saying. She knew that the two on one factor would be hard to tackle...but she also knew that if she played this game well, she would tear Jami up inside. That she may never have to help Jami decide.

***

I'll fall down and pick myself up
Only so I can push myself down again
Can't believe in fairy tales
Or happy Ever After's.
To much is at risk, to much at stake
Gotta watch, let it go for the buying rate
It's all one big misunderstanding
And I want to crawl across the floor

***

Tasha sighed, knowing this was for the best. She wasn't the type who had real friends. Only people who called her their friend. Then when she needed them, they had obligations. Real friends. So, no matter what she had to endure, she would make sure that Jami, Jeff and Adam would never again ask her to be their friend. You can't let someone down when they think you are at your lowest. "Taunt me, tease me" she whispered.
***

So Taunt me, Tease me
But baby don't you please me
I don't deserve what you want to give
I only deserve to live
So don't let my dreams come true

Don't let me hope, only to let you down
I'll let you down in the end
So taunt me, Tease me
But promise you won't please me.
