Summary: Tasha and Jeff seem to be regretting their decisions in breaking up with Adam and Jami. Will Adam and Jami feel the same?

Jami felt her world slip out from underneath her. She reached out and felt the cement wall with her hand, struggling to get her mind to focus. She felt that for sure this had to be some sort of practical joke. Some hidden camera show or something. She could feel Jeff's eyes on her, waiting, wondering what her reaction could be.
Jeff stepped closer to her and put his hand over her hand on the wall. Jami quickly pulled her hand out from under his, like she was burned. "No!" Jami spat at. "Jaym.." Jeff began, but Jami didn't listen to him.
"No! You cannot do this. You can't. Damn you! Damn you! You can't just play games with people's feelings Jeff. And I'm not going to let you play with my head. You are with Tasha. Not me. Tasha. And that's how things will remain. I love you, and I'll always love you, but not like I did before." Jami told him in a tone that told him she was serious.

"No! I refuse to let you just dance into my life out of nowhere Jeff! You can't just waltz over here and tell me that you love me. Remember, you loved Tasha enough to want out of our relationship!" Jami stammered.

"Jami, you can't just sit there and blame this all on me! You loved Adam!! You told me you could feel our relationship had ended already 'cause we both loved others!" Jeff reminded her sharply.
"I don't want you to take the blame in our failed relationship Jeff! That's not what this is about. You are right, I told you that I could feel the change in our relationship. That you and I weren't like we use to be. And I know I hurt you badly Jeff when I fell in love with Adam. But I refuse to take all this bullshit anymore! I refuse to be hurt again! I refuse to let you hurt Adam! I refuse to let you hurt Tasha! I refuse to let you hurt yourself! that's all your doing." Jami argued back at him.

Jami turned tear filled eyes ot look up at him. "Do you know how much I wanted to die the night you walked out of our room Jeff? Do you have any idea? No...you don't. 'Cuase you left. You walked out and left me to deal with it by myself. That isn't love. You slept with Tasha...that isn't showing me love. I just can't keep trying Jeff." Jami whispered as the tears fell down her face.

Jeff lifted up his hand to brush away the tears the were falling from her eyes. Jami pulled back before he could touch her face. She lifted her chin in quiet determination. "Jeff, you said you wanted to be in a relationship with me like we were before. Well, I refuse. I'm sorry. I will always love you. But I refuse to let you have my heart again." With those words Jami turned and walked back down the hallway.
