Title: Step Towards the End
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 4
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns either of us). This is the sequel to "Take That Step" , "One Step Back" and "one Step Forward" you'll find the addresses to those stories in my signature at the bottom of this email. And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: Have the girls got themselves in over their heads?
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee!

Jami stretched one long leg out in front of her, deep in thought. Lita was sitting on her bed, painting her toenails with a black polish. Tasha sat on the bedside table, twirling her hair around her finger.
"So, what do you think of Shane's proposal?" Tasha asked. "Well, I like the idea of them splitting the McMahon's up into three different factions. Steph leading one, Shane leading another and Vince leading the other. Although I am wondering if Linda is going to come back." Lita said.
"Yeah, but it wouldn't be a bad storyline. Shane always makes storylines fun. Plus, it'll really help the break from the guys go over and will help establish us as faces further into it." Jami said. "So I guess we should definately go for it then." Tasha said.
"Yeah, I guess so." Lita nodded. "You know this is going to piss the guys off more, don't ya?" Jami asked.
Lita nodded and Tasha gave a small smile. "Yeah, but since most of the reason why we have been really fighting is on the air, we can't exactly team up with them. I think Shane's idea is going to work naturally." Tasha said.
"so, I guess that's it then. On Monday's RAW we choose to be in Shane's faction, no matter what faction the guys choose." Lita summed up.

Jami walked down one of the hotel hallways, looking for the room Shane said he would be in. She held a contract signed by Lita, Tasha and herself stating that they would agree to be in Shane's faction in the storyline.
Jami could feel a pair of eyes on her and she turned around but saw no one. She turned back in the direction she had been going in and found her way blocked by Booker T.
"Excuse me, please." Jami said, walking around him. But her way was then blocked by both the Dudleyz. Jami sighed, "what do you guys want?" she asked.
"Well, we heard that there was a riff in an Edgier Team Extreme...is that true?" D-Von asked. "It's none of your business!" Jami said.
"Oh, but it is. See, i fyou three are looking for some winners to accompany to the ring, we are willing to offer our services." Buh-Buh told her. "What about Stacy?" Jami asked. "She's getting boring." D-Von said.
"Cut the crap girlie, are you in or are you not?" Booker T. said. "not. The three of us have already made a deal." Jami said.
Booker T. slowly made Jami back up til her back was to the wall. "Listen up. You are a pretty girl. But nobodies that pretty. You cross me and you'll get hurt." Booker T. threatened, running a finger down her face.
"And don't forget what we can do to the rest of your body." Buh-Buh said, a sneering smile on his face as he looked her up and down.
Fear washed over Jami, to the point where she couldn't move. Thankfully she heard a heaven sent voice call out for the guys to leave her alone and stay away.
Once the guys left, Jami collapsed with relief into the arms of Shane McMahon. Jeff stood in a doorway, silently watching Shane's arms comfort his wife.
