Title: One Step Forward
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 7
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns either of us). This is the sequel to "Take That Step" and "One Step Back" you'll find the addresses to those stories in my signature at the bottom of this email. And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: does anyone actually read the summary? Anyways, How will Tasha and Edge cope with the aftermath of their fight?
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee!

Jami and Lita carefully opened the door to the hotel room. "Tash, it's just me and Lita." Jami called. Both women stepped into the room and found Tasha staring out the window, with her back to them. "Tash, are you okay?" Lita asked.
Tasha turned towards them, her jaw and her fists clenched. "Why does he affect me like this?" she asked them, numbly. Jami and Lita could tell she was fighting back tears. Jami went to take a step towards her but Tasha started for the door. "I need to take a walk. Clear my head." She told them before walking out.

Edge wondered through the rec room of the hotel. He wasn't really paying attention to where he was going. He was to deep in thought to really see anything. He jumped when he felt a hand clamp down on his shoulder. He turned and found the smiling Chris Jericho looking back at him.
"Hey man, you seem...distressed. Are you okay?" Chris asked. "Actually, no I'm not." Edge sighed. "Wanna talk about it?" Chris asked. Edge nodded and they both wandered into the hotel cafe for coffee.
"So, what's the problem?" Chris asked. "I really blew it with Tasha. We had another huge fight." Edge sighed. "What was this fight about?" Chris asked. "The same thing we fought about last time. My stupidity. Tasha dyed her hair some purple-blue color and I freaked out about it. I said some really stupid things and then I stomped out of the room and accused Jami and Lita of putting her up to it. And, they totally told me off too." Edge sighed loudly.
"Man, Tasha is a great girl. You could do no better than to have her in your life. You both just need to figure out a way to control both your tempers. Plus, I mean Edge, maybe you should let her know where she stands with you. I mean, she knows she's your friend-your special friend. But what else. Obviously you're thinking of her as much more than that, aren't you? Don't bother denying it, I can see it in your eyes. Ask her if she'd like to start seeing you exclusively. well, don't ask her now. Let her have time to calm down. Just remember this: Tasha is a very strong minded female. And that is part of what attracts you to her. Don't fight it, work with it. Oh, and don't piss Jami and Lita off either. They'll kill ya." Chris suggested.
Edge nodded, "I need to go be alone for awhile...to think. Thanks Chris for the talk, you've helped a lot."

Tasha walked through the hotel's back enterance and outside into the tiny alleyway. She numbly kicked rocks back and forth. She jumped when she felt a hand rest on her arm. Tasha turned, fear in her eyes. Relief soon invaded her body when she realized it was the Undertaker.
"What are you doing out here?" he asked her. "I'm trying to clear my head and calm myself down. Edge and I had another fight." Tasha sighed. "Come inside with me and we'll talk about it, okay? We can go to my room and talk. I'm sure Sara won't mind leaving if you want her too. But if you want, she can stay." The U.T. suggested. Tasha numbly nodded and followed him inside.
