This is the sequel to "Take That Step" and "One Step Back" you'll find the addresses to those stories in my signature at the bottom of this email. And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.

Tasha stood in shock for only a moment before racing over to where Edge lay. She kneeled down next to him and gently reached out to touch his face. She stifled a cry as she noticed that his long blonde hair was turning a pinkish tinge. EMT's surrounded him and she felt herself being gently pushed back from where he lay. To stunned to fight it, she let herself be pushed back.

Jami and Lita raced out to ringside behind the EMT's. They found Tasha standing behind the EMT's in shock. Tasha looked down at her hands and saw traces of blood on them. She slowly sank to her knees, still in utter shock.

Jami and Lita sank down to their knees beside her. Jaim wrapped an arm around her shoulder's and Lita grabbed a hold of her hands. They all watched as the EMT's carried Edge out of the arena on a stretcher. Both Jami and Lita helped Tasha to her feet and backstage.

They were immediently met by Matt and Jeff. "What's going on?" Matt asked. "Lita, why don't you and Tasha sit here while Jeff, Matt and I go get our bags. Then we'll go to the hospital, okay?" Lita nodded and led a still shocked Tasha to a group of chairs.

Jami led Matt and Jeff towards the women's locker room. "Edge fell off the top rope and onto the cement floor. From what I saw...it looked like he landed on his head. It's bad. He's really hurt." Jami struggled to say. She pushed open the door and began throwing things into bags. She threw a bag at Jeff and another at Matt. Both guys had yet to say a word. Jami grabbed her beg and threw a set of keys at Jeff. "You guys can take the van to the hospital if you want. Lita, Tasha and I will go in Lita's car."

Hours later the waiting room at the hospital was still crowded with people. Tasha sat in a chair, her knees pulled up to her chest, her arms wrapped tightly around her legs. Her chin rested on her knees and her eyes were staring blankly into space. She was still dressed in her ring attire. She had on purple pleather pants and a purple pleather halter top. Her long purple hair was hanging loose, down her back. Earlier she had been wearing high heeled sandals, but had slipped them off when they had arrived at the E.R. waiting room, hours earlier.

The group was still waiting for a doctor to come and tell them how Edge was doing. Jami took a look around the room to see who all had shown up. Matt, Lita, Jeff, Ivory, Torrie, Stephanie, Trish, The Undertaker and his wife Sara, Jericho, Kane, Chrisitian, Test, RVD, The Rock, Lance Storm, Shane McMahon, Shane Helms, The Big Show, Steve Austin and his wife Debra, Triple H, Linda McMahon and Mick Foley were all there from the WWF. There were a few people there that Jami didn't recognize but knew they were friends of Edge.

Everyone's attention turned to focus on a doctor who had just entered the crowded waiting room. He cleared his throat nervously and looked grimly at the people gathered in the room.
