Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 2
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me. This is the sequel to "Take That Step" you find the address to that story in my signature at the bottom of this email. And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.

Jami, Jeff, and Matt Hardy all rushed through the cold, sterile hospital halls as they searched for the room they were told Lita was in. As they entered the room, they saw Lita sitting in the bed, staring blankly into space. Jami walked slowly towards the bed and put a hand on Lita's shoulder. "Hey girl. Are you feeling any better?" Lita looked at her with a mixture of confusion and fear. "I feel okay, but I'm not sure who I am or who y'all are." Lita whispered.
Matt shot a worried glance at everyone in the room. "Hun, your Lita, WWF Diva. I'm Jami, another Diva and your tag team partner. I play your little sister on the show, but in reality we are best friends. I'm married to Jeff Hardy, whose a member of our group, called Team Xtreme. His brother Matt is also a member of Team Xtreme. He plays your boyfriend on the show and he's your boyfriend in reality too." Jami explained as Lita watched her, wide-eyed. Finally she looked at Matt, "I'm...I'm sorry. I remember the WWF, I just don't remember the people." Lita mumbled, tears filling her eyes.
Matt stepped forward and laid a hand on her shoulder. "It's okay baby. We're your friends and we will help you through this! We'll be by your side the entire time!" Lita looked comforted for a moment. She smiled at the three of them. "Thank you all. The doctor told me that it was probably just temporary memory loss. They want me to stay overnight, but they'll probably release me tomorrow. Then I can go home...where ever that is." "You can stay with me. I'm sure Vince will let me off for awhile wince the only storyline I'm involved in right now is the one with you." Jami reassured her. Lita nodded. "We'll come home in a week too. That is our vacation anyways, we have enough room in our house for all four of us to stay, right baby?" Jeff said to Jami and Jami nodded.
"I'll go call Vince now. I'll be right back." Jami told Lita as she left the room, followed by Jeff. Matt perched on the side of Lita's bed. Lita gently eased herself away from him and for a moment, Matt looked hurt, but he quickly masked it.
"what exactly happened to me?" Lita asked. "Well, you and Jami were in a tag team match against Ivory and Stacey Kiebler. You were in the ring when Stacey knocked Jami onto the floor, then she got a chair to Ivory. Ivory smacked you in the head with it, but it hit wrong and knocked you out for a few moments. When you woke up in the ring you didn't know who you were, where you were, or who we were, and then you passed out again and they brought you here." Matt explained.
Lita raised a hand and gently touched the back of her head. "That explains the headache." Just then Jami and Jeff returned. "Okay, everything is all set." Jami told them with a smile. A nurse came into the room and gave Lita something to help her sleep.
