Title: Missing a Step
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 5
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin* And not a single butt cheek of theirs belongs to the WWF, to the WWE yes...but not the WWF. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. Charity owns herself and if you try to take any of us, you will burn in hell! This is the next story in the Step series...it's the Edge/Tasha sequel. And the address to the stories is at the bottom of this email. And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago. And Amanda, aka Phoenix, is not a bitch in real life. She's actually a very nice girl. =) She's just a bitch in this story for my purposes *L* So, no bashing real Amanda.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Might be a "Friends" spoiler coming in this chapter or the next one.
Summary: Can Jami and Tasha deal with Phoenix being in the WWE?
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee! I have been suffocating lately....so please, send in the feedback.

The next morning Jeff, Jami, Tasha and Edge all left to rejoin the tour after a quick stop to make sure Lita was okay. They managed to arrive at the arena in time to get their gear on and get a summary of what they are to do that night.
Jami and Tasha were in the locker room stretching out when Trish Stratus sauntered into the room. "Hey baby girls! 'bout time you rejoined us." Trish grinned as she threw herself down on the floor next to Jami.
"Dang woman, we were only gone a day. I know this company runs like a loose wheel when we aren't around, but damn." Tasha laughed. Trish stuck her tongue out at her before turning to Jami.
"So, what is your storyline for tonight. You going to go out and totally kick Phoenix's ass or what?" Trish asked. "Why does everyone want me to kick her ass?" Jami asked. "Because...we all know you want to." Tasha laughed.
"Well, I am not kicking her ass tonight. Tonight I'm here for merely decoration. I just get to have a couple run-ins with Steph. Phoenix isn't in my territory for now." Jami laughed.

Phoenix stood in the middle of the ring, the red was no longer in her hair, but instead a dark brown color was in it's place. Her hair was pulled back tight in a french braid, the end of which was tossed over her shoulder.
"So tonight is the night when all the demons come out. Come out come out, where ever you are." Phoenix challenged. The lights dimmed for a moment before "Papercut" by Linkin' Park roared throughout the arena and Star (Charity) waltzed out onto the ramp, a mic in hand.
"Ya know...I was sitting in the back, minding my own business, when I heard your challenge. But honestly, I believe you are all talk, and absolutely no action. I wanted to fight you Monday night, and you walked away. And now I want to fight you tonight. You up for it?" Star challenged.
Pheonix glared at Star, anger bubbling into her eyes as she saw Star standing in between her and the two women she truly wanted to destroy.
Star stode down the ramp, taking Pheonix's silence as an agreement to a match then and there. A fury of fists were seen between the two women as both struggled to take control of the other. Finally Star managed to get the upperhand on the other woman.
Star threw her into a turnbuckle and rammed her own body into Pheonix's. After a quick bulldog style move, Star covered the other woman only for her to kick out at two.
Star leapt to her feet and used her feet to trample Phoenix's midsection. Phoenix lay on her side, clutching her ribs. Star stood to the side, watching as the battered woman struggled to her feet. Then, Star quickly moved in and performed an Unprettier on her opponent, rubbing it in by using her friend's finisher.
Referee Charles Robinson quickly counted to three as "Papercut" boomed through the speakers. Star had won round one, but everyone knew the war was far from over.
