Title: Learning the Steps
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 21
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin* And not a single butt cheek of theirs belongs to the WWF, to the WWE yes...but not the WWF. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns either of us). Charity owns herself and if you try to take her you will burn in hell! This is the next story in the Step series...it's the Matt/Lita sequel. And the address to the stories is at the bottom of this email. And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: Who is this Phoenix? And what does her presence in the WWE mean to Jami and Tasha.
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee! I have been suffocating lately....so please, send in the feedback.

Jami and Tasha walked through the hotel lobby, quietly conversing with each other, when a tall brunette ran up to them. "Ohmigod. Ohmigod, Ohmigod." Charity gushed. "Okay, yeah, we are Divas...but not Gods. Calmness." Jami grinned.

Charity smacked Jami on the arm and Jami let out a yelp. "No, Shane just cornered me. I guess he was in a really good mood since Mags just suprised him earlier tonight and he probably got a good lay from her. And you know that's most likely the reason because Mags is absolutely obsessed with the bakery and she hasn't been getting any of his buns. Ha! Get it buns. I crack myself up." Charity rambled, laughing.

"Okay, first things....no more alcohol for you. And second, I don't need to hear about Shane's Bakery and what he's got cookin'." Jami laughed, covering her ears. "Yeah, and what were you ohmigod'ing about, 'cause if it's that Shane got laid....that's not an ohmigod statement, that's for the love of God statement." Tasha grinned.

"Shut up." Charity simply stated. Finally she continued, "Anyway, Shane asked if I'd like to start accompany'ing RVD to the ring." Charity giggled. "And you said, 'no way Fucker, how am I suppose to fuck Raven if I'm out at ringside.' right?" Tasha asked.

Charity hit Tasha in the arm this time, getting a yelp from her too. "Damn, we know why RVD never argues with you now. Damn woman." Tasha mumbled as she rubbed her arm.

"yeah, remember that. Anyway, of course I said yes. So, Tah-Dah, I'm the newest Diva-in-training" Charity beamed. Both Tasha and Jami engulfed her in a hug to congratulate her.

"Well, I gotta go tell RVD now, so I'll talk to y'all later" Charity laughed, running off. "Damn, to be that young." Jami sighed, "What the hell am I saying, I am that young." Jami laughed.

The two girls headed up for their hotel room, and once inside, they found two impatient men waiting for them. "Okay, how the hell did you get into our room?" Tasha asked, looking at the two men.

"Damn, you think I've been married to Jami this long and haven't picked up a trick or two?" Jeff said. "Yeah, and Tasha taught us how to scale the building." Edge added.

"Oh yeah, fuck that. You guys can't even get yourself dressed correctly in the morning if someone doesn't hold your hand, so how'd you really get in here." Jami mumbled. "Sweet talked the desk clerk." Jeff grinned.

"That's the husband I know." Jami sighed, throwing her bags down. "Anyway, we came here for a reason." Edge said.

"No shit? Really? Wow, we thought you just wanted to test our beds for us." Tasha mumbled. "Well, we want to do that, but we wanted to wait til you got here for that." Edge grinned his fiendish grin at her.

Tasha narrowed her eyes, waiting for them to respond. "Damn, PMS hits every day, doesn't it?" Edge muttered to Jeff who nodded.

"We want to know who this Phoenix chick is." Jeff said, point blank. "How should we know?" Jami asked, turning to look at a room service menu. "Because we saw your faces when you got backstage after her impromtu introduction. She's not just a new wrestler. Who is she to you two." Jeff asked.

"Nobody." Tasha said, walking over to a mirror to fix her hair. "yeah, and that is why eye contact is being avoided." Edge said.

"Listen, we have a past. Okay. And it's just that...a past. We have things...things we dont' like to talk about. Things that shouldn't ever be talked or thought about again. And some things just keep popping up. And we can't help it. Okay, you have skeletons in your closet. So do we. We aren't perfect, hard to believe, I know...but we aren't." Jami spewed off in a fit.

"Damn, I have one word for you woman, PROZAC" Edge told her. Jami looked at him once, before pouncing on him, acting like she was going to choke him.
