Title: Last Step
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 1
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin* And not a single butt cheek of theirs belongs to the WWF, to the WWE yes...but not the WWF. But I do own Jami, for she is me. Tasha owns herself. Charity owns herself and if you try to take any of us, you will burn in hell! This is the next story in the Step series...it's the Edge/Tasha sequel. And the address to the stories is at the bottom of this email. And I use the wrestlers wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago. And Amanda, aka Phoenix, is not a bitch in real life. She's actually a very nice girl. =) She's just a bitch in this story for my purposes *L* So, no bashing real Amanda.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Just making things up as I go.
Summary: It's the last story...will it all come together, or all fall apart?
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee! I have been suffocating lately....so please, send in the feedback.

(6 weeks after Missing a Step Ended......everyone is all better now...just go with it)

Jami stood in the back of an arena, watching a small TV monitor that was showing Jeff making his way down to the ring for his match that night. It was against Kane, and Jeff was moving back to his extreme roots again.

Tasha, Lita, Matt, Edge, Rob and Charity were all gathered around the monitor to watch the match alongside Jami. A few straglers were straining to get a view from around the group.

Jami's eyes were focused on Jeff as he gyrated down the ramp, stopping briefly to salute the crowd. Lately, every match he was in, he seemed to be taking numerous risks. More than he had since he had married Jami, over a year ago.

The arena vibrated when Kane's pyro's went off, startling Jami. "Damn men and their fire." She mumbled in embarassment. The group around her chucked, before their focus once again turned to Jeff.

He twisted and turned, jumped and hurdled his heart out in the match, but Kane was able to overcome that with his strength and amazing power. By the time the referee counted to three, Jami realized that she had been holding her breath for an amazing amount of time.

True to Jeff's nature, he refused to stay down, and went after Kane to begin another aerial assult. Kane grabbed him in a chokeslam, and Jami growled with frustration. Then her growl turned to one of alarm as Shannon Moore slid into the ring and began to attack Jeff alongside Kane.

Jami broke away from the group of her friends, muttering something about "Extreme fucking ass....I'll show them extreme." Moments later the group watched in amazement as Jami appeared on the television screen, standing at the top of the ramp.

"JR, we are getting some puppy power!" King sang out in his creepy voice. "Well King, we are definately getting a dose of the Diva power here, but one has to wonder what J.Lynn is doing out here. She's not dressed to wrestle, and certainly she doesn't intend on taking on Kane and Shannon Moore!" JR wondered out loud.

Jami was dressed in a pair of faded blue jeans and a light blue cropped top. She ran down to the ring, and took a cue from the Edge book when she slid into the ring. Shannon Moore and Kane had their backs facing her, and she stayed on the ring floor, grinning sadistically at them for a few moments.

Then she slowly inched herself up on her feet, waiting for the two men to discover her in the ring.
