Title: Baby Steps
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 5
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I
did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. But I do own Jami, for she is me.
Tasha owns herself. (Heaven help the person who tries to claim he/she owns
either of us). This is the sequel to "Take That Step" , "One Step
Back" and "one Step Forward" you'll find the addresses to those
stories in my signature at the bottom of this email. And I use the wrestlers
wrestling names in the story, JUST DEAL WIT IT! And don't bother suing me...all
you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know
yet *L*.
Summary: Stacy just shoved Jami into the steps. Will Jami be okay?
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee!

Jeff jumped out of the ring and ran over to Jami. "Are you okay,
baby?" Jami slowly sat up, holding her back. She shot a nasty look over at
Stacy before replying, "Jeff, sweetie, I'm fine. I just fell against the
steps. I'll be okay." Jami smiled up into his concerned face. "Are you
sure?" Jami nodded, "You worry to much."

"I am so tired." Jami yawned as she, Tasha, Lita, Edge, Jeff and Matt
entered the hotel lobby. "Do you want to grab something to eat before we go
to our rooms?" Lita asked. "No, actually, I'm not hungry. Just really
tired." Jami yawned again, as if to prove her point.
"What? Jami not hungry. This is definately a new one." Matt teased.
Jami punched him in the shoulder lightly. "You hit like a girl." he
told her. "Yeah, and you only WISH you could wrestle as good as this
girl." Jami shot back. "Why don't you go on up to bed then." Jeff
suggested, hoping to distract Jami and Matt from their insult match.

Jami quickly changed into something to sleep in when she got to the hotel room.
Jami sighed. Now that she was there, she was restless. She roamed around the
room, picking things up and putting them back down. Finally she decided to call
her sister in Iowa.
"hey Tweedle. what's up?" Jami asked her over the line. "Nuttin'.
I'm doing pretty good. What's up with you? How are you and my little niece or
nephew doing?" Traci asked. "Oh, we are fine. Bored. I just wanted to
make sure you were still coming down to help me before and after the baby is
born." Jami said. "Yep, I have the time off from work. I've got my
plane ticket and everything. I'm so excited to have the chance to see you! Oh,
Kyle is going to come down to see me for a few days while I'm there." Traci
rambled. "oh, okay, that's cool. I miss you so much. And it'll be nice to
see Kyle again too. Are mom, Dad, or Travy-baby (my brother, Travis), going to
come down sometime too?" Jami asked. "Yep, I think right after the
baby is born." Traci told her. "Great, I can't wait. Myabe I'll come
back to Iowa before I start traveling again with the WWF after the baby is born.
It'd be nice to see my family and friends in the state again. Well, baby girl, I
gotta go. I need to get to bed. I'll call you later, 'kay?" Jami and Traci
both said their goodbyes before hanging up the phone.

Jeff woke up in the middle of the night because Jami was tossing and turning so
much. He felt cold fingers wrap around his arm, and he looked over at Jami. She
was pale, but her cheeks were brightly flushed a pink color. "What is it
baby?" he whispered.
"Jeff....Jeff...I...I don't...feel to good." Jami slowly said. Jeff
reached out to feel her face and he was startled by how hot she felt.
"Jeff....I think...you need....to get...help...I
feel....really...bad." Jami gasped.
