Trish Stratus carefully applied her lip gloss in the mirror of the ladies locker room. Nervous butterflies fluttered in her stomache as she thought about her script for that night.

The creative team had noticed the chemistry that sizzled between Bubba Ray Dudley and herself in the ring, and had created a plot line for a budding romance. It had seemed the absolutely perfect storyline since it looked like the real life might mimic fantasy.

Until the night Bubba Ray Dudley had lightly placed a kiss on her forehead and told her he needed time to think it all through. That he wasn't sure a romance with a co-worker would work. Especially one that was with a woman every guy lusted after.

Trish had nodded, pretending to understand, but the moment he had walked away the tears had flown freely down her cheeks. And now, tonight, in front of TV camera's and thousands of eyes, she had to kiss Bubba and pretend he was as madly in love with her as she was with him.

"Trish, come on. Our run-in's are about to hit." Molly Holly smiled to the other diva. The two women made their way to the gorilla position and waited for their cues.

Molly's came first and she rushed down to ringside to help Chris Nowinski. Once ringside she slid into the ring and put up a hand to stop Bubba from pouncing on a fallen Nowinski. Bubba Ray grabbed her and firmly placed a kiss on her lips that lasted the customary screen time of five seconds. Trish felt jealousy bubbling up in the bottom of her stomache.

Molly looked indignant when Bubba broke the cruel kiss and slapped him so hard the arena crowd winced. That was Trish's cue and she ran down the ramp amid a large pop from the crowd.

Trish slid into the ring and speared Molly. The two girls began fighting and Nowinski and Bubba struggled to seperate them. Nowinski slid Molly out of the ring as Bubba held Trish back from going after her.

Trish continued to struggle against his arms wrapped around her waist. Finally she turned to look at him in frustration and yelled that she wanted to go after Molly and he couldn't stop her.

Bubba grabbed Trish's face in his hands and kissed her lips softly. Trish's eyes widened as Bubba didn't break the kiss after the usual five second rule. Finally Trish broke away and looked at him with a confused expression.

***
I've got a funny feeling
The moment that your lips touched mine
Something shot right through me
My heart skipped a beat in time

There's a different feel about you tonight
It's got me thinkin' lots of crazy things
I even think I saw a flash of light
It felt like electricity

Trish could have sworn the ring was spinning at a dizzying rate. Her heart beating irractically, her face was flushed. She wasn't sure what was happening, but she was sure it was about to kill her.

***
You shouldn't kiss me like this
Unless you mean it like that
Cause I'll just close my eyes
And I won't know where I'm at
We'll get lost on this dance floor
Spinnin' around
And around
And Around
And around

Trish felt the crowd's eyes on her and Bubba Ray. They wanted to believe the two were falling in love in front of their eyes. But Trish knew the truth. That she was falling in love but Bubba wanted to be just friends.

But something in the way he kissed her said differently. But it was just acting right? No use getting false hope. Trish tried to remind herself of that, but couldn't help the feeling floating inside of her.

***
They're all watching us now
They think we're falling in love
They'd never believe we're just friends
When you kiss me like this
I think you mean it like that
If you do maybe kiss me again

The moment they reached the backstage area, Trish turned to wander to her locker room but Bubba stopped her. "can I talk to you a second?" Bubba asked her.

Trish nodded as she noticed a few fans watching them from their setas. "They think we make the perfect pair." Trish mumbled to herself.

***
Everybody swears we make the perfect pair
But dancing is as far as it goes
Girl you've never moved me quite
The way you moved me tonight
I just wanted you to know
I just wanted you to know

"Trish, out there, just now. I wasn't acting. I know I said I needed time, and then I wasn't sure about dating a co-worker that millions of men dream about seeing naked, but I've had all the time I Need." Bubba spoke quitely.

Before Trish could respond Bubba pulled her up against him and kissed her firmly on the mouth. Trish felt herself deepening the kiss. She broke away breathlessly. "Bubba, I can't take playing some game. Don't kiss me like this if you don't mean it like..." before she could get the final word out, Bubba kissed her again.

They're all watching us now

They'd never believe we're just friends
When you kiss me like this
I think you mean it like that
If you do baby kiss me again
Kiss me again.
