You Oughta Know

Jayme sat outside of the arena that night, cooling off after her match with Stephanie McMahon. This match has been more personal than business, even more personal that Jayme would like to admit.

Jayme had been seeing Adam Copeland for 3 years, ever since she joined the World Wrestling Federation with the stage name Jaded. She had first began to see Adam two months before she recieved her five year contract. And now three years later, they had split up. All because of one woman. Stephanie McMahon.

Jayme wasn't exactly sure what Adam wanted with Stephanie. She was so cold, so uninviting. So conservative. Nothing like herself in that way. Jayme would do anything, just for the thrill. Spur of the moment type stuff was what she loved best. And Adam was the exact same way. He loved to go play in the rain at 3 a.m. He liked to have sex in the movie theatre. He loved the thrill of doing something that you would get in trouble for if caught.

Jayme cocked her head to one side as she thought more about Stephanie. They looked alike in someways. Both of them were the same height. They both had long brown hair, slightly wavy. Their eyes were both brown, but Stephanie's were usually narrowed in a glare. Stephanie always had a sneer on her face. Jayme was generally a smiling person, carefree and loving life.

Jayme blinked away her thoughts as the door opened up and out came the one, Adam Copeland. They hadn't talked since the day Jayme had caught him in Stephanie's office, his pants down around his ankles, doing things with Stephanie she didn't even want to think about at the moment.

Adam caught her gaze and held it for a minute. "Jayme, listen I'm sorry you saw..." but he was interrupted by Jayme talking. She quoted one of her favorite songs, :"
I want you to know that I'm happy for you
I wish nothing but the best for you both
An older version of me
Is she perverted like me
Would she go down on your in a theatre
Does she speak eloquently
And would she have your baby
I'm sure she'd make a really excellent mother

'Cause the love that you gave that we made
wasn't able to make it enough for you to be open wide, no
And every time you speak her name
Does she know how you told me you'd hold me
Until you died, 'til you died
But you're still alive

"Adam, you know...you promised to love me til the day you died. I think you should keep up your end of the deal." Jayme sneered at him finally. "Why do you have to be such a bitch about this?" Adam asked her.

"Adam, Darling, why shouldn't I be a bitch. I caught you with your pants down, screwing someone else. What more of a reason do I need to be a bitch?" Jayme laughed.
Chorus:
And I'm here to remind you
Of the mess you left when you went away
It's not fair to deny me
Of the cross I bear that you gave to me
You, you, you oughta know

"You look rather well Adam. You must be getting screwd often then. No blue balls for you. But then, I never did expect Stephanie to be one to hold out." Jayme sneered at him. "Jayme, just please, cut this shit off." Adam asked her.

"Oh, I'm just suppose to go on, like nothing happened. Pretend that you didn't have me replaced even before I was gone. Okay, I can do that for you Adam. But there is one thing I will tell you before I go back inside." Jayme told him, watching as he lit a cigarette.

You seem very well, things look peaceful
I'm not quite as well, I thought you should know
Did you forget about me Mr. Duplicity
I hate to bug you in the middle of dinner
It was a slap in the face how quickly I was replaced
Are you thinking of me when you fuck her

'Cause the love that you gave that we made
wasn't able to make it enough for you to be open wide, no
And every time you speak her name
Does she know how you told me you'd hold me
Until you died, 'til you died
But you're sill alive

Repeat Chorus

"And what is that?" Adam asked, taking a drag of his cigerette. "I'm not going to be able to just disappear out of your life, just like you won't disappear out of mine. No matter how hard I try to make you." Jayme smiled at him. Adam took his cigerette out of his mouth and looked at her.

"Is that all?" He asked. "Nope, You know, you weren't that hard to replace either. I didn't realize how bad of a fuck you really were until I got with Jeff Hardy. I hope that everytime I scratch my nails down his back in actual pleasure, not the fake stuff I did with you...I hope you feel it." Jayme smiled as Adam nearly swallowed the cigerette between his lips.

Without another word, she walked back inside, leaving him out in the cold, with nothing but the smoke and her words left hanging in the air.

'Cause the joke that you laid in the bed that was me
And I'm not gonna fade
As soon as you close your eyes and you know it
And every time I scratch my nails down someone else's back
I hope you feel it...well can you feel it

Repeat Chorus
