Jami hurriedly walked through the backstage area, wiping tears from her eyes as
she walked. Part of her brain screamed at her to slow down, not to walk so fast.
She didn't want to catch them. But the other part of her brain screamed that she
had every right to know what her fiance was doing behind her back.
Stephanie McMahon had never been her friend. They didn't hate each other, there
was just indifference between them. Would she...could she have been telling her
the truth? Stephanie had told her that they were together at this very moment.
In his locker room. Could she be brave enough to open the door and see for
herself.

OOh yeah
Oh yeah
Invincible
Is what you think you are
But you're so typical
Though you think that you're a star
You act like
Everyone revolves around you
Baby you dropped the ball
And now the game is through
'Cause you tried to play both sides
You got caught up in your lies
And now you're running
You're running out of time
***
Jami slowly slid a shaking hand through her brown hair, biting on her lip
nervously. She was standing outside his locker room. Did she want to open the
door and see what was happening on the other side.
Finally Jami took a deep breath and forced her shaking hand onto the locker room
door. She eased it open quietly and peeked into the room. At first she didn't
see anything but a few bags laying around. Then she heard the sound of water
running.
Jami smiled to herself as she walked further into the room, letting the door
soundlessly click behind her. She should have known that it wasn't true. Her
baby loved her. She glanced down at her engagement ring. The ring that he had
said, 'sealed their love.'
Jami quickly crossed the room to the open shower that lay behind a wall barrier.
She walked into the shower, knowing it wasn't going to be anyone else in there
but him. He shared the locker room but his tag team partner was out in the ring
at this very moment. She had made sure of that before coming into the locker
room.

You played yourself
But did ya, did ya
Think you could really
Find love from someone else?
You making moves
You gonna lose
You know you played yourself
And now you thinking, thinking
You can get one by me
But you'll never win,
But you'll never win
Try again
'Cause the game is over

Jami let out a small cry of suprise when she saw the couple before her. The
image scalding itself into her mind, into her retina's. Her fiance, Jeff Hardy
was standing naked in the shower, with a naked Stacy Keibler.
Jeff stopped running his hands along her body when he heard the small cry. His
eyes grew round as his eyes looked into Jami's heartbroken brown ones.
Without a word Jami ran out of the shower, out of the room and into the hall.
Before she could get very far she ran into a solid form. She looked up into the
eyes of Matt Hardy and she saw realization dawning in his eyes.
"You knew.......Damnit, you knew!" Jami whispered to him. Before she
knew it Jeff was behind her, grabbing her arm. He had quickly thrown on a pair
of jeans and ran after her.
"Jami..please. Stacy means nothing to me. Please believe me. What happened
in there...that was nothing but physical. I love you. Please baby." Jeff
begged her to listen to him.
***
Take it personal
'Cause I did
When you cheated on me
You may be beautiful
But there's more
That the eye can see
You're so predictable
The way you calculate each move
Heads I win
Tails you lose
Because you don't have
The right to choose
'Cause you tried to play both sides
You got caught up in your lies
And now you're running
You're running out of time
***
Jami slowly turned around to face him, tears streaming down her face. "Oh,
since it was just physical, I shouldn't take it personally? Well, don't take
this personally then." Jami slapped him across the face.
Jeff took a deep breath, "Okay, I deserved that. Can we please just talk
this over?" He asked her.
"Jeff, you don't seem to get it. YOU don't get to choose what we do from
here! You are the one who was fucking Stacy Fucking Keibler. Okay. There is no
more us! You can go back to your stupid games! I'm not playing anymore!"
Jami hissed at him.

"Jami, I swear I'll never even look at another woman, if you please, just
don't end this!" Jeff begged.
"What? You want to be able to have me and a little Stacy ass on the side?
Or are you hoping to get a little Trish ass next time? Huh? How many times have
you done this Jeff? Don't even bother to answer that. I don't want you to have
to stop and count." Jami spat the words out at him and turned to leave.
He quickly grabbed her arm, forcing her to face him once more. "Jami,
please. No games. No more." he promised.

How could you think that
You could do me like that?
Running behind my back
How could you do me like that?
Now the game is over
How could you think that
You could do me like that?
Do me like that
Do me like that
***
"You know what Jeff? You actually think that is all it's going to take. A
bunch of empty promises. Well you are WRONG! You may not realize this yet, but
the Game if officially over. You lost. Not me. I deserve better than to have to
wonder if you are in the shower fucking Stacy fucking Keibler." Jami
yelled.
"Would you stop calling her Fucking Stacy Fucking Keibler." Jeff asked
quietly.
"what would you rather I call her. Your mistress? Your booty call? You
piece of ass on the side? Mistress Stacy. Really Jeff, enlighten me. Wait, never
mind. I don't want to hear anymore of what you have to say. This is the second
time you've done this to me. I forgave you once, no more. GAME OVER!" Jami
shouted before rushing past Matt and into a more crowded hallway.

Jeff looked over at his older brother. "What do I do man?" he asked
him. Matt sighed. "Jeff, I told you she'd catch you. So, my guess is that
you should definately count this as a loss. A big loss. The biggest loss you'll
ever have. I guess she's right. Game over. You lose." Matt glared at his
baby brother before taking off after Jami.
