Title: Saints and Angels
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 1
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*.But I do own Jami, for she is me. I once tried to pay for Tasha and Charity, but they kept raising the prices...so now I'm saving up to buy Jeff. Song belongs to Sara Evans. And the address to the stories is at the bottom of this email. And don't bother suing me...all you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's a PG-13
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad either....maybe some cussing.
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't know yet *L*.
Summary: Well, let's just say that I have never been one to turn a cheek towards a challenge. =)
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee! I have been suffocating lately....so please, send in the feedback.

Charity quitely moved through the small hallway that lead to the make-shift business offices at the arena. Her tennis shoes barely made a soft padding sound on the cement floor.

She finally reached the door she was looking for, and knocked softly on it. Within seconds the door was opened and she rushed inside.

"Your note said you wanted to see me, and it was urgent." Charity said, relaxing her back against the wall. "Yes, I did. I need...I need to talk to you. I don't think we are going to work out." Charity heard the words rush out of her boyfriends mouth. The mouth of Paul Heyman.

"Wh-What?? Why?" Charity asked, stunned. "Whatever you think, please know that I still do love you. But, you deserve so much more Charity. You deserve a guy everyone likes. One that people like to be around. One who will make you happy." Paul said, avoiding her gaze.

"Paul...you make me happy." Charity whispered. "How can I make you happy? I'm the loud mouth people love to hate. I screw people over, and I make their lives miserable." Paul mumbled.

"Paul, baby, that is what your character does." Charity said. "Yeah, but sometimes...it's hard to know where the character ends and I start." Paul whispered.

Charity didn't say anything, only wrapped her arms around him.
***
We're only human, baby
We walk on broken ground
We lose our way
We come unwound.
We'll turn in cirlces, baby
We're never satisfied
We'll fall from grace
Forget we can fly
But through all the tears that we cried
We'll survive.

Cause when we're torn apart
Shattered and scarred
Love has the grace to save us
We're just two tarnished hearts
When in each other's arms
We become saints and angels

When they had first found out that Charity was dating Paul Heyman, Charity's friends had put up quite a fit. He was suppose to be her man, and yet, night after night they watched as he propositioned the other diva's...occasionally even them!

Charity had tried to no avail to remind them that Paul's character was suppose to do that....to make people hate him. But she suppose it was hard to believe, after all, only weeks before Paul had been living the life of his character.

Finally, it had came down to Jami marching up to Heyman and telling him if he ever hurt Charity, she would rip off ALL his appendages, and feed them to the nearest dog. The look of fear in his eyes had helped Jami let it all go.

"Paul...I love you. I love everything about you. Your past, your present and your future. I don't love just certain parts of you. I love it all." Charity whispered.
***
I love your imperfections
I love your everything
Your broken heart, your broken wings
I love you when you hold me
And when you turn away
I love you still and I'm not afraid
'Cause I know you feel the same way
And you'll stay

Cause when we're torn apart
Shattered and scarred
love has the grace to save us
We're just two tarnished hearts
When in each other's arms
We become saints and angels
***
"Paul, I'm not going to just let you walk out of my life." Charity said. Paul pulled back. "Then I won't even try." He smiled before he kissed her.
***
These feet of clay (These feet of clay)
They will not stray

Cause when we're torn apart
Shattered and scarred
Love has the grace to save us
We're just two tarnished hearts
When in each others' arms
We become saints and angels.
Saints and Angels.
