ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago. The song lyrics are from

Kassidy wiped her eyes with the kleenex as she sat in the church. Her eyes were
blank and staring towards the front. Her eyes were unfocused as her mind began
to spin. She clenched the kleenex tightly. She and Adam (EDGE) were suppose to
get married that spring, but that was over forever now. Adam would never be HER
Adam again. Someone leaned over and squeezed her hand. Kassidy smiled over at
Chris Irvine (JERICHO). "Are you going to be able to make it through
this?" Chris asked her. Kassidy just nodded, her throat was to tight to
even whisper. She let out a struggling deep breath. She smoothed her short black
skirt and pulled at the bottom of her black, leather blazer. She uncrossed and
then recrossed her legs and ran a hand thru her long red hair.

If I'd a known the way that this would end,
If I'd a read the last page first
If I'd a had the strength to walk away,
If I'd a known how this would hurt

Kassidy had been in shock when she had heard the announcement about what was to
happen today. She had been in the ring helping Amy (LITA) fine tune a few of her
new moves. Before long they had started play cat-fighting. Joking around and
just goofing off. They stopped when they noticed Jeff Hardy walking slowly
towards them. Kassidy and Amy grinned down at him as they leaned on the ropes.
"Hey, what's up?" Amy asked. "Uh...I've been asked to give these
to you." was all he said. Both women took them, looks of confusion in their
eyes. Kassidy ripped open the envelope and noticed their was a card inside. As
her eyes scanned the words, she felt her world slipping away.

I would have love you anyway,
I'd do it all the same
Not a second I would change
Not a touch that I would trade
Had I known my heart would break,
I'd a loved you anyway.

Adam and Kassidy had met 2 years ago when she had joined the WWF. THe Hardyz had
Lita, Hurricane Helms had Mighty Molly, Christian had Ivory, so Vince had put
her with Edge. Her WWF name was Kaotic Kass. Adam had immediently takin' a
liking to her, and before long they were a couple off screen as well as on. But
after a year, Vince had Kaotic Kass turn on Edge. She went to be paired with
Jericho. A new girl had joined the WWF, her real name was Mirissa and her WWF
name was Kissin' Kelsey. Before long, Adam and Kassidy had grown so far apart
that they had decided to take a break. Or rather, Adam decided that. Adam began
to date Mirissa and Kassidy wanted to date Chris but, just felt like she wasn't
ready to move on yet.

It's bittersweet to look back now,
As memories withered on the vine,
But just to hold you close to me,
For a moment in time.

Finally the service was over and Kassidy and Chris walked out of the sanctuary.
Chris placed a protective arm around her waist and she smiled up at him again.
As they moved thru the line, Kassidy let her eyes travel to where Adam now
stood. Next to his....wife. Kassidy let out another shaky breath as she reached
them. She hugged Mirissa and then faced Adam. He smiled sadly at her. Kassidy
hugged him and he whispered, "I'm sorry I put you through all that."
Kassidy drew back from him and took Chris' hand. "It doesn't matter, I
would have loved you anyway."
***
And even if I'd seen it comin'
You still'd a seen me runnin'
Straight into your arms.
