Title: Dizzy
Author: Jami Lynn
Chapter: 1
Disclaimer: I don't own any of the wrestlers used in this story, 'cause if I
did, I'd be busy with them right now *grin*. Rakie owns herself and i own
myself. It's the way it goes. 98 Degrees owns the song. And the address to
the stories is at the bottom of this email. And don't bother suing me...all
you'd get is a half eaten ham sandwich and a bag of chips from 2 years ago.
Distribution: Ask me if you can use it, more than likely I will say yes.
Rating: So far, it's not to bad...sexual situations are involved, but
nothing graphic.
Content: Nothing bad as of yet, probably won't be anything to bad
either....maybe some cussing
Spoilers: Um...anything can happen and I'm just writing as I go, so I don't
know yet *L*.
Summary: This is a fic for Rakie....and one that will hopefully appease
Tasha who says I can never write any kind of happy story.
Feedback: I need feedback like I need air! So give it to me, babee! I have
been suffocating lately....so please, send in the feedback. </DIV>

Rakie walked along the backstage hallways at the arena that night an hour
before Monday Night Raw was scheduled to go live. Sunday Night Heat was
taping at the moment, and Rakie was bored. Her match wasn't scheduled until
a bit later during Raw. She usually hung out with Jamison, another Diva in
the WWE, but she was in the middle of a match.

As Rakie rounded a corner she spotted a familiar face. As she neared him,
she shivered slightly realizing how much he towered above her. He was
wearing a pair of black and white track pants, shirtless. His hair was
sticking up in some sort of messy style.

Rakie quickly adjusted her skin tight ring outfit as she neared him, beaming
him a smile that should have blinded the man. He shyly smiled back and
Rakie held back a laugh. For such a tough bad ass, he sure was shy.

His eyes roamed appreciatevely over her body and Rakie added a little more
of a swivel to her hips as she walked closer to him, causing him to blush.
"Hey Dave." She smiled at Dave Batista. He nodded his head as he walked
past her, the blush still covering his face.

As soon as he was out of earshot, Rakie giggled. Jamison poked her head
around the corner of the hallway and shook her finger at her friend. "By God
girl, why don't you just throw him down on the ground and get it over with."
she laughed.

"Yeah, the poor guy would probably have a heart attack. He acts like he
doesn't have a clue what to do around a woman." Rakie remarked. "Probably
doesn't. Guess you'll have to be the one to teach him." Jamison laughed.

I wanna know who you are
No more admiring you from a far
You walk by I get weak in the knees
I get next to you andi get dizzy dizzy
The way you look the way you move
Your body's telling me that I cant lose
You and me were meant to be
I get next to you and I get dizzy dizzy

Jamison pushed her way through a crowd of people later that night at the
bar, and Rakie followed close behind her. They sat at a booth and Jamison
offered to get the drinks. She quickly returned with two shots and handed
one to Rakie.

The moment the shot hit the back of her throat, Rakie was sure it was going
to burn a hole straight through her. "What the fuck is this?" she coughed
and Jamison shrugged. "I told the bartender to suprise me." she giggled.

Rakie laughed at her friend, noticing that Jamison's eyes had turned to the
door with a huge smile on her face. "Look, Glenn is here. And my goodness
me, he brought someone with him. Could it be? Why, that looks like Dave
Batista to me." Jamison said, putting on the worst performance of her life.

"Fuck! You little twit. You set me up!" Rakie hissed. "It's just a
coincidence, I'm sure." Jamison grinned as Glenn and Dave approached the
table.

'I think the drink is getting to me. I'm feeling a bit light headed.' Rakie
thought to herself as she watched Dave approach her. "Hey Rakie, nice match
tonight." Dave said as he lowered himself to sit in the booth next to her.

"Thanks." Rakie said, wanting to kick herself for how nervous she was
acting. By God, she wasn't 8 years old. She could talk to boys now. She felt
Jamison kick her under the table and she glared back at her. Glenn Jacobs
was sitting next to Jamison and Rakie giggled at the sight they made.
Jamison was the average height of most of the Diva's at a solid 5'2" while
Glenn just completely eclipsed her.

My head is spinning round and round
You got me feeling like my feet arent on the ground
What is this power that you have over me
I get next to you and I get dizzy dizzy
I dont know just what to do
I've been in love but this is something new
Your the one for me its plain to see
I get next to you and I get dizzy dizzy

"hey Rakie...this is a great song. you should find someone to dance with you
to it." Jamison said, giving her an innocent look. Rakie kicked her under
the table, but she must have missed as Glenn grimaced instead. He got his
own form of revenge on her when he spoke, "Hey Dave, why don't you dance
with Rakie. You might have to hold her up, she looks a bit tipsy." Glenn
rumbled in a low voice.

Dave nodded, stood up and offered his hand to Rakie. He led her out onto
the makeshift dance floor and before she could focus on finding her feet,
she felt herself being wrapped up in his arms. She noted that he couldn't
hold her to close or she'd suffocate in his maroon sweater.

She tipped her face up to look at him and smiled when she noticed the grin
spreading across his face. "I think we've been set up." he whispered to
her. Rakie laughed, "I do believe you are right."

They turned and saw Jamison giving them the thumbs up sign before Glenn
dragged her away to some dark corner. They turned their attention back to
each other and swayed slowly together.

With my eyes open I wanna see your face
Spend all my days in your sweet embrace
Just one night with you could set me free
I get next to you and i get dizzy dizzy
You make me think of things to come
Im dreaming that I'm making love
I dont know what you doing to me
I get next to you and i get dizzy dizzy
***

Later that night, Rakie left the bar with Dave's arm securely wrapped around
her waist. As they walked through the parking lot Rakie managed to trip
over absolutely nothing and stumbled before regaining her balance. "Are you
okay?" Dave asked her. Rakie laughed, "I guess I'm just a little Dizzy."
